Complete your FAFSA.
To apply for federal student aid and state aid awarded to residents of Ohio, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA form is available from any high school counselor, college or university financial aid office, and online at www.fafsa.gov.
When you file the FAFSA, be sure to add The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences to the “College to Receive Information” section of the application. Our Federal School Code is 006489. You must list The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in this section in order for the College to receive your FAFSA results.
Once the College receives those results, the Financial Aid Office will determine the amount and type of federal and state aid you will receive. The Financial Aid Office will send you a letter listing all federal and state aid you are eligible to receive with a packet containing instructions on how to secure that aid. All applications are processed without regard to sex, age, creed, handicap, or national origin.
You may begin applying for financial aid for the next school year as early as January 1. Financial aid award letters will only go out to accepted students beginning in March and/or April of each year.
Apply for additional scholarships and grants.
The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences offer scholarships for freshman and sophomore students from our private endowed scholarship programs. These scholarships have varying criteria for qualification. TCCNHS scholarship applications will be available online beginning in March of each year. Students may apply for these scholarships once they have been accepted to the College. The application deadline is May 1st each year.
Renew your financial aid every year. You must re-file your FAFSA each year you are enrolled in college to continue receiving federal and state aid. Contact the Financial Aid Office early during the spring semester for more details on renewing your financial aid for the upcoming school year or go to www.fafsa.gov. for more information.
