Health Insurance Information
Requirement for Clinical Degree Programs
Bachelor of Science in Nursing*, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assisting, and Medical Assisting Certificate students are required to maintain health coverage. You can waive coverage through United Health Care Student Resources (UHCSR) by providing a copy of your health insurance information or can register for health insurance through the UHCSR student portal: https://studentcenter.uhcsr.com/thechristcollege.
Please note: students who fail to verify coverage through the portal will automatically be enrolled in annual coverage through UHCSR.
*Freshman BSN, who are not enrolled in clinical courses, do not have to provide proof of coverage.

The cost for the 2021-22 academic year is as follows:
- Annual - $2,792
- Fall - $1,170 - please contact Donna Wood for single semester coverage
- Spring/Summer - $1,622 - please contact Donna Wood for single semester coverage
- Summer - $704 - please contact Donna Wood for single semester coverage

Billing for the UHCSR insurance plan will be applied to the student’s tuition bill. Financial aid can be used to pay for these expenses.
Voluntary Enrollment for Non-Clinical Degree Programs
Students who are not required to carry insurance, but who would like to enroll in the plan offered through United Health Care Student Resources, may voluntarily enroll at https://www.uhcsr.com.
Billing for voluntary enrollment is handled directly through UHCSR.
