Admissions Information

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?

  • Students who have a received a non-nursing (BA or BS) degree from a CHEA recognized accredited institution. 

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

  1. Submit an Application for Admission

  2. Submit the Required Documents

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hold a Bachelor's (BA or BS) degree in a non-nursing field from a CHEA recognized accrediting body 

  • Cumulative College GPA of 2.75 or higher

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

REQUIRED PRE-REQUISITE COURSES*

All required pre-requisite courses must be completed with a "C" or higher.

  • Chemistry (CHEM 105)

  • Anatomy & Physiology I with Lab (BIO 111)

  • Anatomy & Physiology II with Lab (BIO 112)

  • Microbiology with Lab (BIO 121)

  • Pathophysiology (BIO 300)

*An applicant meeting minimum admissions requirements can apply without any or all pre-requisite courses completed. If accepted, you must commit to enter our "Prep Phase" to have your clinical seat held.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1.  Completed Application for Admission

2.  Official College Transcripts from ALL Institutions Attended

  • Transcripts for admission to The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences MUST be submitted via MAIL or EMAIL from your high school, college/university, or a transcript service such as Parchment. Faxed transcripts will not be accepted.

  • Transcripts must be official and sealed.  Copies will not be accepted.

  • All transcripts originating in a foreign country must be translated and evaluated by World Education Services for a course-by-course level evaluation and calculated cumulative GPA. (www.wes.org.)
