THE CHRIST COLLEGE CHANGE THE WORLD, TOGETHER CAMPAIGN
In honor of the 2020 graduates, The Christ College is leading a Change the World challenge to raise scholarship monies for our current students.
Why is the College having a challenge during economic uncertainty?
The ramifications of COVID-19 has impacted students and family’s ability to afford college. We are doing everything we can to support families and stand in the gap. Since March, we have experienced a dramatic increase in need for financial assistance. Imagine a student making the hard decision not to pursue their dream of coming in the fall.
How you can support?
There is power in participation. Alumni, friends, and family. Will you consider participating in the challenge? Make it a group effort and reach out to classmates, family and friends. Every dollar makes a difference. Remember there is power in participation.
Together, we can Change the World!
We realize during these unprecedented times; many individuals are faced with financial hardship and unable to give. We respect and honor everyone’s choice and position. You might consider making a future pledge to make a future gift.
When does the challenge start and what’s next?
The challenge begins now and will conclude on September 15th. We will celebrate the Top Three classes with a plaque placed at the College to recognize their contribution and generosity. Alumni, parents and friends making a generous gift of $1,000 or more will be recognized in the 1888 Society.
Thank you for your past and future support and generosity.
Ways to Give
The opportunity to attract, retain and graduate highly skilled nurses and healthcare professionals while maintaining the high quality of the College will require a collaborative effort by many stakeholders, both public and private. To face these challenges head-on, you are invited to become part of our mission and vision by participating as a charter member in the Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences Annual Campaign, focused on four priorities:
1. Develop Healthcare Leaders Through Transformational Experiences
2. Ignite Passion and Purpose Through Distinctive Learning
3. Promote the Well-Being of a Dynamic Society
4. Contribute to Global Awareness with Local Impact
Gifts of $25,000 or more can be designated as a named scholarship. Named scholarships ensures the College’s ability to recruit and retain future students.
Make a significant charitable gift that is part of your financial or estate plan.
A BEQUEST IS A WONDERFUL WAY FOR YOU TO HELP MAKING A LASTING IMPACT.
There are many reasons why you might consider making a charitable bequest. A charitable bequest is an easy way for you to help us in our work. Here are some of the many benefits of bequest giving:
- It cost you nothing today
- A bequest is free of federal and estate tax
- Your bequest can be changed later
- You can benefit heirs with your specific gifts
- You can leave a legacy through a bequest
Corporations and businesses encourage philanthropic behavior and enhance the impact of employee generosity with matching gift programs. Depending on your individual company’s policy, your gift or volunteer efforts for TCCNHS could be increased from one to three times for each dollar you contribute. Other individuals who may qualify to have gifts or volunteer efforts matched include spouses of employees, retirees and members of boards of directors.
